Progress: "Whale Hunting" this is one of the larger projects started here in Korea. I included this picture so you know I have been working on something! This is about 1/4 of the way through. I have really enjoyed using some new techniques in shading and thread use.
"Are you a Good Witch Or a Bad Witch" by Pine Mountain. These were stitched here in Korea. Done in one day each. Good Witch on February 13th and Bad Witch on March 31st. Nice to know I can pull off a project in one day!
"Pencil" by Erica Michaels this one is for one of David's favorite teachers Mr. Villiers it is my third pencil in Korea. Finished this one March 25th.
"Be Merry" by Little House Needleworks. I started this one on the plane to Singapore during Christmas break. This is the project I worked on pool side! I finally finished it this February when the flesh thread color arrived.
"Winter Wonderland" by Blackbird Designs Pattern 39 of the Loose Feathers Collection. Finished on December 19th. Bundang-Gu, Korea
"Pencil" by Erica Michaels number two in Korea was stitched for Galen's teacher Ms. Dorsett and was finished on November 27th at Starbucks Bundang, South Korea
"Hello Cat" a Korean kit I found in Dundamun in Seoul. It will be finished as a phone fob for Galen as soon as I translate the finishing directions. This was finished on November 6th at the apartment in Bundang.
"Sweet Little Berries" by Little House Needleworks is a kit I purchased years ago and brought along in hopes that I would find time to do it. I did! I must admit I am quite pleased with how well it turned out. Little House Needleworks is turning into one of my favorite designers. Their samplers are so forgiving. I can add favorite stitches and overdyed threads at will! This piece was completed on October 20th at the park along the Tancheon River. Bundang, South Korea
"Well Behaved Women" by Lizzie Kate is the second one stitched in the series. was completed also on October 20th but this one in the apartment in Bundang, South Korea. This was the China project. I started it on the plane on the way over and then continued to work on it all over China. It was almost completed when I returned but just needed the last touches done on my return.
Erica Michaels has designed a "Pencil" for teachers gifts complete with the teachers name on the side. I have stitched several of these and the tradition continues here in Korea. David picked first and chose Mr. Brinn. This project was finished on October 14th at the Caffe Bene in Bundang, South Korea
Lizzie Kate has put together a cute little series with sayings that are just too cute to not stitch. This was my first project finished here in South Korea. Lizzie Kate's "You Can Touch the Dust" was started and completed here in Bundang at the apartment. I stitched this one in Seoul at the Seoul Tower, on buses and subways along the way and waiting for the kids at the bus stop. It is currently hanging in the kitchen/dining area of the apartment.
